What working here is like
The firm is deliberately full-service. Land and property, civil and commercial litigation, RERA, criminal, family and advisory work all sit in the same chambers, and the same advocate often carries a matter that crosses several of them. That is the point of practising here rather than at a boutique: you see the whole problem, not one corner of it.
Every matter is conducted by the advocate who advises on it. Clients deal with the person holding their file, not a succession of assistants, and that applies to juniors as much as to seniors. A junior here appears, drafts and corresponds from the outset, with a senior reading the work and standing behind the judgment.
We work to current knowledge rather than remembered knowledge, because the law moves. Research, technology and the training of our people are treated as part of the practice rather than overheads. Fee terms are settled in writing before engagement, and where a matter belongs with another firm, we say so — and we expect the same plainness from everyone who works here.
The five opportunities
Each is described in full on its own page, with the form for applying. Choose the one that fits where you are now; if you are between two, apply for the nearer one and tell us why.
Internship
For students and recent graduates
Work alongside the advocates on live files: research, drafting, record-checking and court preparation. Interns sit with the matter, not beside it.
Advocate's Clerk
For graduates with basic computer and English skills
Support the advocates in the day-to-day running of the office: filing, records, court papers and correspondence, with routine computer work.
Junior Associate
For advocates with up to six years of practice
Conduct matters with support and supervision: appearances before district courts, tribunals and the High Court, drafting, and direct client contact from the outset.
Senior Associate
For advocates with six or more years of practice
Own a practice area, run matters end to end, and supervise junior advocates while conducting your own appearances.
Partnership Opportunity
For established advocates and other professionals
For established advocates and other professionals who would rather build something with a firm than alone.
How applications work
Interested candidates are welcome to apply using the form on any of the five pages above. Tell us where you are in your career, what you have worked on, and what you are looking for. A writing or drafting sample tells us more than a covering letter, so please include one.
We read every application. If your profile matches what the firm needs, we will contact you to take it further — subject to a vacancy being available at the time. That last qualification matters, and we would rather state it plainly than leave it unsaid: a good application may go unanswered simply because there is nothing open to offer, and we do not want you waiting on a reply that is not coming.
Please apply once, to the single opportunity that fits you best. Sending the same application to several openings does not improve the odds, and it makes the file harder to read.
Draft your resume, cover letter or proposal in your own words. Please do not use AI tools or chatbots to write them, or to fill in this form. An application that reads as machine-written is very likely to be rejected, and that decision is not one we can revisit. Plain, specific and yours reads far better than polished and generic.
The firm does not charge for internships, does not take payment for training, and does not accept applications through agents or intermediaries. If anyone offers you a place here in return for a fee, it is not us — please tell us.
Questions before you apply
If something about the firm or the work is not clear from these pages, write to the email address in the footer and ask. A question costs nothing and is often the fastest way to find out whether the fit is right.
